Bellator 108 saw the return of Quinton Jackson, who faced Joey Beltran in the main event of the evening at Revel Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., last night (Fri., Nov. 15, 2013) on Spike TV.
"Rampage" had fallen on rough times, bouncing from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after dropping three straight fights. But, with a new home in Bellator and a supposed newfound love for mixd martial arts (MMA), Jackson was able to finish Beltran in the first round.
Jackson had difficulty early with Beltran's range and timing, but a flurry at the end of the round led to the referee stoppage just as the horn sounded. Two hooks put Beltran on his knees and a final hook was enough for the referee to jump and stop the fight (.gif here).
