The co-main event of tonight's (Sat., Nov. 16, 2013) UFC 167: "St. Pierre vs. Hendricks" pay-per-view (PPV), taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, features two friends duking it out in a light heavyweight showcase. Indeed, Chael Sonnen and Rashad Evans will step away from their respective positions at the announce desk in favor of exchanging fists inside the Octagon.
It should be fun.
More than that, though, there's a lot on the line, at least for Evans. "Suga" hasn't looked like himself since he was battered and beaten by Jon Jones in April of last year. He's also 1-2 in his last three contests, meaning this is damn near a must win.
As for Sonnen, well, he's got a date in Brazil with Wanderlei Silva and a second stint coaching The Ultimate Fighter awaiting him no matter what happens here. Still, he's coming off a sweet submission victory over Mauricio Rua and looks as good as ever.
Like I said, should be fun.
