Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held weighs ins for UFC Fight Night 29 earlier today (Oct. 8, 2013), seeing 19 the 20 fighters (Thiago Silva being the exception) scheduled to compete on the card make weight, which means the 10-bout card that goes down tomorrow night at Jose Correa Arena in Barueri, Brazil, is now official.

Conclusion of the weigh ins means tomorrow night's fights, headlined by a welterweight showdown pitting Demian Maia vs. Jake Shields, are one-step closer to becoming a reality. All that remains are the winners and losers to be determined inside the Octagon live on Fox Sports 1.
