UFC 166: Jeremy Larsen vs. Andre Fili booked for Oct. 19 with Charles Oliveira hurt

Does Team Alpha Male have yet another contender on its hands?

Hopefully, third time's the charm for Jeremy Larsen.

After a horrific car crash prevented his original opponent, Matt Grice, from stepping inside the cage, Larsen was re-booked to face Charles Oliveira as part of the UFC 166: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" prelims on Facebook, which take place on Oct. 19, 2013 at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Then, "Do Bronx" went and got himself injured (details).

Coming in on super-short notice is Team Alpha Male featherweight Andre Fili, who shared the good news on Twitter. And yes, his last name is pronounced "feely," which naturally, left him with no other choice but to assume the nickname "Touchy."

The once-beaten Californian -- winner of eight straight -- has racked up a 12-1 record on the regional circuit and will look to send Larsen (8-4) to his third straight loss inside the Octagon and perhaps, the unemployment line. The former lightweight has yet to win a fight under the ZUFFA banner.

Do or die.

UFC 166 is headlined by a heavyweight championship trilogy bout as Cain Velasquez puts his title on the line against Junior dos Santos in what will be the third meeting between the pair in less than two years.

That's not all.

Top UFC lightweight contenders Gilbert Melendez and Diego Sanchez are also slated to hook 'em up in a bout that could have serious 155-pound title implications.
