Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has rarely given this much attention to a fighter coming off a loss.
Then again, when you're the first and only person to go five rounds against reigning light heavyweight Champion Jon Jones -- and not know who the winner was prior to the scores being read aloud -- then you've earned a few extra looks. Such is the case with Alexander Gustafsson, who turned in a career-performance at UFC 165 last month in Toronto.
Otherwise known as the greatest 205-pound title fight in mixed martial arts (MMA) history.
Not surprising, these two are expected to hook 'em up for a second time in summer of 2014, assuming "Bones" can hang onto his belt at UFC 169, when he welcomes Glover Teixeira to the "Garden State" (details). Gustafsson, likewise, will have to win his next battle to remain at the top of the pack.
And spoil these plans.

Part 2:
Close, but no cigar.
Despite a couple of "bogus" reports, Gustafsson is back in the gym with the usual suspects and is expected to compete on or around the same time as "Bones" in his native Sweden (details). Until then, check out the above videos to see what the big deal is.
