Heck, it's about time!

After flaking out on two previous engagements with the Ukrainian giant, unbeaten 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist Alexander Povetkin will finally step up to face the world's premiere boxing Heavyweight, Wladimir Klitschko, tomorrow afternoon (Sat., Oct. 5, 2013) at Olimpiisky Arena in Moscow, Russia.

MMAmania will deliver LIVE coverage of "Klitschko vs Povetkin," starting with the BoxNation broadcast at 3:30 p.m. ET. It will also air via tape-delay in United States on HBO at 10 p.m. ET.

Klitschko (60(51)-3) will bring pretty much every other title on the planet save the WBC belt, which is held by his brother, into the ring -- his WBA "super" title, IBF, WBO, IBO and "The Ring" belts will all be up for grabs. He has not lost since getting knocked out by Lamon Brewster in 2004. He was last seen blowing out Francesco Pianeta in six rounds, having beaten the snot out of the inhumanly-durable Polish giant Mariusz Wach his previous time out.

Povetkin (26(18)-0), meanwhile, will bring his WBA title into the ring, which he won against one-time Klitschko challenger Ruslan Chagaev back in 2011 and defended four times. The most notable of these defenses came against Cruiserweight kingpin Marco Huck, who moved up in weight to give Povetkin hell before losing a narrow decision. Since then, Povetkin has knocked out the ruined husk of Hasim Rahman and previously-undefeated Pole Andrzej Wawrzyk.

A word of warning: HBO will show this fight on tape delay before the Miguel Cotto vs. Delvin Rodriguez card, so read at your own risk.
