Alessio Sakara was booked to fight two different people on today's (Sat., Oct. 26, 2013) UFC Fight Night 30: "Machida vs. Munoz" event from the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, England, before settling on Octagon newcomer Nicholas Musoke.
By the time it came, it was simply a middleweight bout designed for some fun for foreign fans.
Sure enough, that's what it delivered.
Musoke, hoping to impress no doubt, decided to make it a firefight early, taking the center of the cage and exchanging punches with the former boxer. Both fighters were landing hard punches at will and within the very first minute of the bout, both had been staggered and/or put on wobbly legs.
Oh, and add a takedown in there for each guy.
Musoke did some damage from on top after getting his takedown but Sakara ended up reversing him. "Legionarius" landed some hard blows, too, but before you could even blink, Musoke locked in an armbar and got the tap.
Wam, bam, thank you, man.
