Cain Velasquez did what he always seems to do, pestering and pressuring his opponent until his will was broken and he was left a heap of flesh and failure. This time around, it was Junior dos Santos on the receiving end of an ass whooping at last night's (Sat., Oct. 19, 2013) UFC 166 pay-per-view (PPV) event at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Velasquez spent nearly another full five rounds knocking him around from one end of the cage to the other until referee Herb Dean mercifully stepped in to stop it. The bout was nearly stopped multiple times before it actually was thanks to a big cut near "Cigano's" right eye and massive swelling over his left had it almost completely shut. Each time, though, the doctor let it continue and that just meant more time for the Cain Train to go rolling right on through the Brazilian. It certainly doesn't appear there is a heavyweight on Earth who can hang with Velasquez at this point in time, outside of maybe Daniel Cormier and the two are teammates who have vowed to never fight each other. It will be most interesting to see where they go from here.
