Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos fight results UFC 166, Round 3

Junior dos Santos knocked out Cain Velasquez in the first meeting. Velasquez dominated Dos Santos for five full rounds in the second meeting. Tonight (Sat., Oct. 19, 2013) in the main event of UFC 166: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, they met for a third and final time to settle the score in an awesome heavyweight trilogy over the division title.

Velasquez wasted no time grabbing Dos Santos and once again pushing him up against the fence. It was a strategy that was getting the job done but really chaffing the ass of the fans in attendance at the arena who were livid.

Then, out of nowhere, Velasquez landed a HUGE shot that put "Cigano" on his ass and had referee Herb Dean looking for any indication that he could step in and save the big Brazilian from further damage. Unbelievably enough, though, Junior survived the initial push.

On top of that, he survived each and every shot that came after too. Somehow, someway, he continued getting tagged but just wouldn't go down for good. Not here and not now at least.

Wow.
