Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was back on the air earlier tonight (Weds., Oct. 2, 2013) with the first installment of its three-part "Primetime" series on FOX Sports 1 to promote the Heavyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) trilogy match between Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos, which headlines UFC 166 pay-per-view (PPV) event at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on Oct. 19, 2013.

Naturally, the series kicks off with a history of their first two encounters, which the pair split in wildly different fashions. At UFC on Fox 1 in Nov. 2011, dos Santos needed just 64 seconds to stop Velasquez and claim his championship belt. Thirteen months later at UFC 155, "Brown Pride" battered "Cigano" from pillar to post for 25 agonizing minutes to reclaim his world title.
Dos Santos succinctly summed up the genesis for their third fight in less than three years:
"Cain Velasquez gave it his best to finish the fight and he couldn't. And I finished him in one minute. We have to know who is the real No.1 [Heavyweight]."
Enjoy the behind-the-scenes "all-access" look at Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos as they prepare to culminate their historic trilogy in little more than two weeks.
Can't wait for episode two. How about you?
