The heavyweights brought the big guns to the main card pay-per-view (PPV) portion of tonight's (Sat., Oct. 19, 2013) UFC 166: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" event from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, as Gabriel Gonzaga returned to the cage to trade punches with Shawn Jordan.
Two big ol' boys going at it.
That was the idea, at least, and, thankfully, that's exactly what happened. Jordan showed no aversion to wading in with combinations, leading with a jab before following up with a hook and a cross.
It's just too bad that Gonzaga protected his neck and perfectly timed a counter strike that landed right on the kisser, which was wide open thanks to Jordan's attempted offense.
The Brazilian badass of days past may be back after all, Maniacs. How do you like the sound of that?
