UFC 166 results: John Dodson knocks out Darrell Montague

John Dodson got power, yo.

Joe Camporeale-US PRESSWIRE

The flyweights opened the main card of the UFC 166: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" pay-per-view (PPV) tonight (Sat., Oct. 19, 2013) at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, as former title challenger John Dodson took on Darrell Montague.

And it was an absolute burial.

Indeed, Dodson, who may be well on his way to another crack at the division crown, obliterated Montague, blasting him with a series of punches that had him flying all around the cage trying to regain his bearings.

It never worked, not really, and "The Magician," who may possess more power than any fighter in the flyweight division, finished the job using patience and, well, more hard punches.

It was an impressive performance, one that should catapult him right back up the 125-pound ladder.

Right?
