"It's a fight where it needs to happen because of all the personal things outside of the cage. We've had a disagreement; we have to settle it inside the Octagon."
That's Daniel Cormier's attitude towards his fight against Roy Nelson, scheduled for the co-main event of tonight's (Sat., Oct. 19, 2013) UFC 166: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" event from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The two have been trading barbs for months, and now it's time they trade punches.
As for "Big Country", he's got another thing in mind.
"The opportunity is simple," he said. "You beat number two, then you fight for the championship. So, I like that opportunity."
That's not necessarily the case, as we well know when it comes to UFC President Dana White and his matchmaker, Joe Silva, but it's the right mindset to be in for what should be an explosive fight.
See you then!
