MMAFighting.com shutterbug fill-in, Andrew Hemingway, was on the scene at House of Blues in Houston, Texas, yesterday afternoon (Weds., Oct. 16, 2013), to shoot several of the notable fighters who will compete on the UFC 166: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" pay-per-view (PPV) card this Saturday night (Oct. 19, 2013) for the event's open media workouts.
Naturally, the two men who will collide in the main event of the evening, Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos, were strutting their stuff to promote their 265-pound trilogy match, which will anoint the top mixed martial arts (MMA) Heavyweight dog once and for all.
(Still) bearded brawler Roy Nelson, as well as his soon-to-be Light Heavyweight opponent (Heavyweight for now), Daniel Cormier, were also on hand to work up one of the last few real sweats prior to their contentious bout this weekend at Toyota Center.
That's not all! Diego Sanchez was all fired up, chanting "Yes!" and intensely doing furious pad work ahead of his Lightweight showdown with former Strikeforce champion Gilbert Melendez.
