Junior dos Santos made it look easy.
Cain Velasquez stormed the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, fresh off his first-round technical knockout win over ex-champion Brock Lesnar, ready to meet his Brazilian challenger in the main event of the promotion's inaugural show on the FOX network.
And it was big.
Big enough that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made this heavyweight title fight, which took place on Nov. 12, 2011, the only televised fight in the entire 60-minute broadcast. As it turns out, they only needed 60 seconds. Well, 64 to be exact, as "Cigano" dropped a bomb on the champion and put him away without even batting an eyelash.
Undaunted, Velasquez charged back to step on Bigfoot Silva before reclaiming his division title in their UFC 155 rematch. Be on the lookout for that full fight video replay later in the week. Meanwhile, enjoy the brief beating in the video above as these two gear up for their epic trilogy.
We're just three days away.
UFC 166: "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 3" takes place this Saturday night (Oct. 19, 2013) from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, starting with "Prelims" on Facebook and FOX Sports 1, followed by a five-fight main card on pay-per-view (PPV).
