The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 14 contestant Hamid Corassani will look for his third straight win inside the Octagon when he takes on fellow rising featherweight Maximo Blanco as part of the upcoming TUF 18 live finale, which is scheduled to take place at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Nov. 30, 2013.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made the bout official earlier this week.
Corassani (11-3) failed to make an impact on the 2011 edition of the promotion's combat sports reality show, but has since been able to win back-to-back fights following his UFC on FUEL TV 5 debut. After squeaking by Andy Ogle via split decision, "Akira" managed to outpoint Robbie Peralta the following spring in Sweden.
He faces a very stiff test next month in "Sin City."
Blanco (9-4) got off to a rocky start under the ZUFFA banner, after Pat Healy choked him out in Strikeforce in late 2001. He followed that up with a split-decision loss to Marcus Brimage in his UFC debut, but battled back to score a unanimous decision win over Sam Sicilia earlier this year on FX.
"Maxi" is the former lightweight King of Pancrase.
TUF 18 Finale will feature a championship rematch in the flyweight main event when Demetrious Johnson defends his 125-pound title against familiar foe Joseph Benavidez, while the male and female finalists on the current season of the promotion's "reality" television series will hook 'em up for "six-figure" contracts.
