Invicta FC's first dip into the pay-per-view (PPV) did not going according to plan.
After dealing with streaming and payment processing issues that prevented a number of viewers from ordering the $7.95 Invicta FC 4: 'Esparza vs Hyatt' pay-per-view on UStream, Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp made the admirable decision to broadcast the show free of charge and refund each person who was successfully paid for the event in full.
"We are pulling the pay wall down and refunding all payments made due to difficulty in purchasing event," Knapp wrote on her official Twitter account. "Enjoy the show!"
Knapp also apologized for any inconvenience the numerous issues may have caused in an interview with Bas Rutten on the Invicta FC 4 live broadcast.
After the organization streamed their first three events for free, the Jan. 5, 2013, show in Kansas City, OK, was the organization's first on PPV.
