Super Bowl 2013 video predictions: 49ers vs Ravens picks from UFC 156 event fighters

Who's gonna win Super Bowl 47? Don't ask me, I don't know squat about football. Fortunately, the fighters competing at UFC 156 this weekend are here to bail me out and drop some gridiron knowledge.

Hey, did you know that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo can kick a 45-yard field goal?

That explains those nasty leg kicks.

Super Bowl XLVII takes place this Sunday (Feb. 3, 2013) and in case you've been living under a rock or just watch too much WWE (or in my case, both) the San Francisco 49ers (NFC) will take on the Baltimore Ravens (AFC) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I actually had to look that up.

Anyway, before either team takes the field this weekend in 'Nawlins, mixed martial arts (MMA) fans will have their own super-duper event to get excited about as UFC 156: "Aldo vs. Edgar" goes down this Saturday night (Feb. 2) LIVE on pay-per-view (PPV) from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That, I did not have to look up.

To help celebrate this weekend's festivities, the SB Nation crew got a hold of some of the UFC 156 cast and crew to get their predictions on Sunday's big game. As it turns out, Aldo thinks Tom Brady's wife is a hottie, Tyron Woodley is not a fan of watching television and Jon Jones still owes Jacob Volkmann money.

Pay up, or get your back cracked.

Most of the fighters had an opinion on some guy named Ray Lewis, which I had to Google, and the first thing that came up was some controversy over deer antlers. My dad used to be into taxidermy, too, and going down to the basement on a dark and stormy night to jiggle the fuse box was always good for a few jitters.

Anyway, enjoy the weekend.
