The recently announced UFC on FUEL TV 9: "Gustafsson vs. Mousasi" fight card is beginning to take shape as a featherweight affair between Robbie Peralta and Akira Corassani will take place at the April. 9, 2013, event in Stockholm, Sweden.

MMA Junkie recently reported both fighters verbally agreed to the match up. UFC officials have yet to confirm the 145-pound affair.

Peralta (16-3, 1 NC) is coming off a 24-second starching of Jason Young at UFC on FUEL TV 5 last September, a victory that pushed his record with the organization to 2-0 with 1 "No Contest." The 27-year-old has been touted as a competitor with a bright future in the featherweight division, but he has yet to be tested against a top-flight opponent.

That test will have to wait at least one more fight as Corassani, while a respectable fighter with solid skills, is nowhere near the top of the division.

Corassani (10-3, 1 NC) made his long-awaited UFC debut with a split decision victory over Andy Ogle last September, also at UFC on FUEL TV 5. The Swedish fighter was a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 14, but following the show his Octagon debut was postponed due to injuries.

The 30-year-old has finished his opponent in four of 10 victories. He has also lost by (T)KO in all three of his career defeats.

The Peralta vs. Corassani match up will likely be aired on the preliminary portion of the card, which is set to broadcast on FX and Facebook.

UFC on FUEL TV 9: "Gustafsson vs. Mousasi" goes down April 9, 2013 from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The event headliner will see Alexander Gustafsson return to compete in his home country against former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi, who makes his UFC debut at the event.

Aside from Gustafsson vs. Mousasi and Peralta vs. Corassani, no other bouts for the event have been announced at this time.
