With the last of the formalities complete, it's finally time to fight. Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its official weigh in event for UFC on Fox 4: "Shogun vs. Vera" earlier this evening (Fri., Aug. 3, 2012) from inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The show will be headlined by a light heavyweight number one contender bout pitting Mauricio Rua vs. Brandon Vera. Of course, assuming one of the two is outdone by the winner of the Lyoto Machida vs. Ryan Bader bout earlier in the night, we could see one of them earn top contender status.
