UFC 150: "Henderson vs. Edgar 2" took place last night (Sat., Aug. 11, 2012) from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, featuring Ben Henderson defeating Frankie Edgar for the second consecutive fight to retain his lightweight championship.
Controversy be damned.
In the co-main event of the evening, Donald Cerrone put shin bone to face and had his former teammate, Melvin Guillard, seeing stars. "Cowboy" walked away with an extra $120K in bonus awards and a number one contender bout awaiting him.
Other action on the card saw Jake Shields successfully return to the middleweight division with a win over Ed Herman, Yushin Okami dominate Buddy Roberts, and Max Holloway finish Justin Lawrence.
