UFC 150: "Henderson vs. Edgar 2" from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, has officially wrapped, which means it's time for those select fighters who went above and beyond in their respective fights to get a little extra grease for their efforts.
To the tune of $60,000 each.
The promotion dished out its standard post-fight monetary bonuses to four out of the 20 fighters on the card, and it's probably no surprise who's headed home with a second sack of simoleons.
Like Donald Cerrone and the fact that he broke the bank by turning in one of the most spectacular performances of his career by knocking out Melvin Guillard in their lightweight co-main event scrap, earning him "Knockout of the Night" honors.
But because "The Young Assassin" had "Cowboy" rocked and on the fence early, only to see Cerrone recover and deliver a head kick before a devastating hook to put his former teammate out cold, the pair took home "Fight of the Night" honors as well.
And this all happened within less than two minutes.
Dennis Bermudez is also $60K richer thanks to his running game on the unheralded Tom Hayden with a tight standing guillotine choke in the first round. It was an expected outcome, sure, but that doesn't make the cash any less green, y'all.
Here are the special fight bonuses for UFC 150:
Submission of the Night -- Dennis Bermudez
Knockout of the Night -- Donald Cerrone
Fight of the Night -- Donald Cerrone vs. Melvin Guillard
Again, each fighter received $60,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as possible.
