UFC 151: Kyle Noke drops to welterweight to face Charlie Brenneman on Sept. 1 in Las Vegas

Hopefully, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matchmaker Joe Silva has unlimited calling and texting.

That's because the past few days have been an assembly line of new match-ups and fight card updates, including the recent announcement that Kyle Noke will be dropping a few pounds to make his welterweight debut against the rough-and-tumble Charlie Brenneman.

MMA Weekly first brought word of the contest late last night.

Noke (19-6) is coming off back-to-back losses to Ed Herman (UFC on Versus 5) and Andrew Craig (UFC on FX 2) and will test his might at 170 pounds in just under a month at the UFC 151: "Jones vs. Henderson" pay-per-view (PPV) event on Sept. 1, 2012 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Don't expect a warm welcome from "The Spaniard."

Brenneman (15-4) is also trying to get back into the win column after a submission (rear naked choke) loss to Brazilian wunderkind Erick Silva during the UFC on FX 3 event back in June. The AMA Fight Club product is 3-3 since late 2010 and needs to get something going to avoid getting lost in the shuffle.

Who ya' got?

UFC 151 will feature a light heavyweight championship showdown pitting division titleholder Jon Jones continuing his assault on the 205-pound weight class by taking on former Strikeforce straphanger and grizzled PRIDE veteran Dan Henderson.
