Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to pay-per-view this past Saturday night (July 7, 2012) with UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2," featuring Anderson Silva stopping Chael Sonnen via strikes in the second round to retain his middleweight championship for a record tenth time in a row.
Best in the world.
Forrest Griffin stole every last bit of glory from Tito Ortiz in his retirement fight, taking a unanimous decision from him before showing zero regard or respect for "The People's Champ" in stealing his final spotlight.
Other action on the card saw Demian Maia destroy Dong Hyun Kim, Cung Le decision Patrick Cote, Mike Easton glide past Ivan Menjivar, and Chad Mendes rearrange Cody McKenzie's insides.
In cased you missed any or all of it -- or just want to keep the discussion alive -- below are links to all the major storylines borne from Saturday night's event in Las Vegas.
