Steven Seagal on Anderson Silva's UFC 148 win over Chael Sonnen: We worked hard for this (Video)

"Happy as I could possibly be. That's my guy. He's a wonderful athlete, a wonderful martial artist, great attitude. We worked hard for this, all of us, and we couldn't be happier. We were expecting that (Sonnen takedown in the first round) and if you'll notice, and I've always said this, just because somebody's on top of you doesn't mean they're winning. We wanted him to expend a lot of energy. We felt that Anderson just held him and was relaxing and then (Sonnen) did nothing to him. He was just expending all his energy and that's why in the second round, (Silva) was able to do what he did. I don't think (the knee was illegal) but I gotta look at the tape. But I don't think so."

-- Surprise! Look who's here and taking some measure of credit for the successes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. That's right, it's bloated B-movie action star Steven Seagal, who made sure to show up just in time to get in front of cameras long enough to let the world know he was a part of Silva's successful title defense against Chael Sonnen in the main event of UFC 148 last night (July 7, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Do we even really care at this point? Maniacs?
