Forrest Griffin earns a close unanimous decision victory over Tito Ortiz in the co-main event of the UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event that took place last night (Sat., July 7, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. This fight, the third encounter between the two, played out similarly to the first two. Griffin unloaded a steady stream of punches, overwhelming Ortiz in sheer volume. But it was "The People's Champ" who knocked his opponent down multiple times and dominated the grappling game.
