UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" took place last night (Sat., July 7, 2012) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, featuring Anderson Silva once and for all vanquishing his arch nemesis by stopping Chael Sonnen via strikes in the second round of their middleweight championship fight.

Forrest Griffin sent Tito Ortiz off into retirement on a low note, not only defeating him via close unanimous decision but also stealing all this thunder with some wacky post-fight antics.
