There is no more risky fight card to make a poster for than "The Cursed Card of Calgary."
That's because UFC 149: "Faber vs. Barao," which is scheduled to go down on Sat., July 21, 2012, at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has gone through a complete face lift, with every single one of the original main card bouts getting changed in some way or another since they were originally announced.
In fact, the event was supposed to be headlined by a Jose Aldo vs. Erik Koch featherweight title bout until "Scarface" was bitten by the injury bug that claimed so many others on this very same card. Urijah Faber vs. Renan Barao ended up taking up the mantle as the headlining attraction.
They will be joined on the pay-per-view (PPV) main card by Hector Lombard, who will be making his Octagon debut against Tim Boetsch in place of the injured Michael Bisping. Other action on the card will see Cheick Kongo battle Shawn Jordan while Brian Ebersole has a quick turnaround against James Head.
