"I hope Anderson does a great job representing us and I actually wish he doesn’t knock him out fast. I’d like him to punish Sonnen and smash him out for me and for all Brazilians. I guess he went too far and he deserves to be punished. I hope that Anderson not only wins, but punches him a lot.... I hope he smashes Sonnen on the behalf of all of us."
-- Strike first, strike hard, show no mercy! Anderson Silva isn't the only one who wants to break the bones and teeth Chael Sonnen at UFC 148 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, tomorrow night (July 7, 2012). Fellow Brazilian Wanderlei Silva recently spoke with Tatame.com, sharing his best case scenario for the "rematch of the century" this weekend in "Sin City." Sonnen has pretty much said it all in the three-year build up to this 185-pound showdown, flapping his gums mightily and essentially insulting an entire nation who have rallied behind "The Spider." Sonnen, who classifies his Brazil remarks as "facts" rather than "insults," responded to the Silva threat at the UFC 148 pre-fight press conference by recently telling Dan LeBatard, "Well, that's like the big threat in Brazil 'we're gonna send you to the dentist....' There's something wrong with your tooth in Brazil, some with doctor waves a fishbone in front of your face and hopes your mouth feels better." I'm sure you get the idea by now. It's comments like these, along with a few directed toward "The Axe Murderer" that have referred to him as an "invalid," which most likely have him blood- and bone-crushing thirsty.
