Hey look! It's UFC President Dana White's favorite subject!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is coming under fire (again) from the boxing community for the way it compensates the mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters under its employ. But this time, it's not Bob Arum or ESPN leading the charge.
It's former Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson.
"Nothing personal to nobody, they gotta be f---ing millionaires. They gotta get the f---ing money they deserve. How is [MMA] going to be bigger than boxing if they don't have cash? These guys need to be multi-multi-millionaires. They need to have their big f---ing mansions, their big cars and if not, they should be able to take care of their family. They should be able to live without fighting no more. They're still getting brain damage. They're still getting knocked out. They're still going to the hospital every night, win, lose or draw. They know something bad's going to happen eventually. Why can't we live a good life until that happens? I'm just saying ultimate fighting fighters are not getting paid what they deserve."
I guess "Kid Dynamite" never went for a joyride in Josh Koscheck's private airplane.
After the jump, hear more from Tyson, who was a special guest on yesterday's edition of The MMA Hour (via MMA Fighting), as he discusses UFC fighter pay and what to expect when the "scumbags" find their way into the sport of cage fighting.
Anyone think the "Iron" man is speaking out of turn?
