Countdown to UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" hit the airwaves last night on FUEL TV to promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for this Saturday (July 7, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As promised, the network television special got up close and personal with UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva as he prepares to defend his strap for the second time against his arch nemesis, Chael Sonnen.
Reviews were strong and you can clearly see why. The video showcases the two training and all the usual fluff but we also get to watch the two watch a replay of the first fight and offer their commentary on it. Both men are candid in their assessment of the bout with Sonnen even admitting to his own shortcomings.
But of course he promises to finish the job this time around. And "The Spider" is equally as confident that he'll do the same but even quicker this time around.
While Silva vs. Sonnen part deux will undoubtedly be the biggest fight of the year, it's not the only bout taking place on the UFC 148 main card.
