Good news for "Sin City" ticket holders.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones is still on track to defend his 205-pound strap against Dan Henderson at the UFC 151 pay-per-view (PPV) event from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sept. 1, 2012.

Now that he's cleared up a certain messy legal situation.

"Bones" was back in front of the judge today (July 31) in New York's Binghamton City Court, the same place that saw the 24-year-old fight phenom plead guilty to driving while intoxicated (DWI) back in June.

Jones was fined $1000 and received a six-month suspension of his driver's license, according to pressconnects.com, and will have to install ignition interlocks on all of his vehicles as well as complete a victim impact panel within the next 90 days.

Jones was arrested in the wee hours of May 26 after crashing his Bentley into a utility pole and was also slapped with a pair of moving violations including "improper turn" and "deviating from a direct course." Under the terms of his plea deal, those additional charges were dismissed.

Here's what Jones told media members following his ordeal:

"You live and you learn from mistakes that you make and hopefully I can use some of my downfalls to make myself better, make people around me better and show that you can come back from anything. I've learned a lot about myself, I've learned a lot about the seriousness of everything. I've learned a lot. I've grown as a man."

He's grown as a man and on Sept. 1, we'll get to see if he's grown as a champion, as well. Anyone think "Hendo" can capitalize on this distraction?
