Maybe it's just me, but I get the feeling these two don't like each other.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today (July 3, 2012) fired off another pre-fight press conference for its upcoming UFC 148 pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for this Saturday night (July 7, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And boy, it was a doozy.
Aside from Sonnen's usual schtick, things got ugly during the staredown and UFC President Dana White was forced to restrain Silva when the angry champion went on the offensive. Fortunately, he had a little help from some huge guy in a black tee shirt.

Sonnen has spent the last two years talking all kinds of trash about how he's the real champion following his dominant performance in their first encounter way back at UFC 117. He eventually succumbed to a fifth-round triangle choke and walked out of Oakland the loser, but was able to come closer to dethroning "The Spider" than any UFC middleweight before him.
Once again the Brazilian's title is on the line in this weekend's match-up and you'd be crazy to miss out on this one. Even if you don't want to shell out the $50 to watch it, there's no excuse to not be following along with our UFC 148 results and live play-by-play on fight night.
More pics of their tumultuous staredown after the jump.
