BJ Penn video blog for UFC 152 fight against Rory MacDonald (Episode one)

For the first time since he claimed to be done with the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA), B.J. Penn will be back inside the Octagon fighting Rory MacDonald at UFC 152: "Benavidez vs. Johnson" on Sat., Sept. 22, 2012, at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In preparation for as much, "The Prodigy" is releasing video blogs in the two months leading up to the bout. And two things pop out in this first episode.

First, Penn explains, seemingly without even intending to do so, that a big reason the VADA drug testing came to be is that the UFC put his fight against MacDonald third down on the card. The main event of UFC 152 will be Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson and the co-main will be Michael Bisping vs. Brian Stann.

This is important because initially Penn was hesitant to accept the fact that VADA releases drug test results immediately, which would mean if he or MacDonald failed before fight night, the bout would be called off. It appears the fact that neither man will be relied on for heavy promotion was enough to get B.J. to sign up.

Secondly, the Hawaiian revealed he's trying to get in to American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) to train for this fight but Jon Fitch, who fought to a draw with Penn at UFC 132, is getting in the way of it. He makes a plea to Fitch in a way only B.J. can.
