Video: Georges St. Pierre pounds the pads while training for Carlos Condit at UFC 154

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre is slowly but surely creeping his way back into the promotion's 170-pound future, and according to UFC President Dana White, he's "good to go" for a his Octagon return against Carlos Condit.

And it helps that his career as a card shark was short lived.

"Rush" is expected to headline UFC 154 opposite "The Natural Born Killer" on Nov. 17, 2012 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. That gives the Canadian kingpin plenty of time to fend off invading ninjas and let sleeping dogs lie.

The good news for fight fans is that an additional welterweight match-up, Martin Kampmann vs. Johny Hendricks, will allow the winner of St. Pierre vs. Condit to leave "The City of Saints" with a new number one contender already in the can.

Any guess as to who it will be?
