Programming alert: 'Countdown to UFC 150' debuts Aug. 7 on FUEL TV

Countdown to UFC 150: "Henderson vs. Edgar 2" will debut on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at 9 p.m. ET on FUEL TV to promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for the following Saturday (August 11) at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

The network special will provide a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, featuring reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Ben Henderson defending his newly-won strap against former division titleholder Frankie Edgar.

UFC.com currently lists replays of "Countdown to UFC 150" for Wednesday, August 8, at 5 a.m and 6 p.m. ET.

UFC 150 will also feature former welterweight Jake Shields, who will make his 185-pound debut for the promotion against former "Ultimate Fighter" Ed Herman. Donald Cerrone will also look to take center stage against Melvin Guillard while Rousimar Palhares will attempt to "Thunder" past Yushin Okami.
