Invicta Fighting Championship will be kicking off its second effort later this month, live from Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan., on Sat., July 28, 2012, featuring a main event between 2004 Olympic Wrestling Silver Medalist Sara McMann taking on submission-savvy Shayna Baszler.
Elsewhere on the card, EliteXC veteran Kaitlin Young will be looking for her first win under the Invicta umbrella after a split draw against Leslie Smith during the promotion's debut back in April.
To do it, she's got to first get past ex-Strikeforce contender Liz Carmouche.
Young will be updating her training and preparations for her pending scrap against "Girl-Rilla" in a series of exclusive video blogs right here at MMAmania.com. Her latest offering focuses on her strength and conditioning at the famed Horsepower Gym in Edina, MN.
