UFC 148 drug test results are in from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC), who today confirmed that all 22 fighters tested for illegal/banned substances after competing at the "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event on July 7, 2012 in Las Vegas have all passed with flying colors.

Each combatant was screened for performance enhancers such as steroids and drugs of abuse like cocaine and marijuana, among others.

Results from these battery of tests all returned negative.

UFC 148 featured the highly anticipate rematch between Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and his arch nemesis, Chael Sonnen. "The Spider" disposed of his prey within just two rounds, scoring a second stoppage win over Sonnen that may send the mouthy Republican up to the 205-pound division.

Elsewhere on the card, Forrest Griffin took a close unanimous decision over Tito Ortiz before embarrassing himself with some childish post-fight antics and ruining "The People's Champ's" retirement bout.

At least he apologized later. It's a good thing, too, considering how he'll be looked at now that fans know he, just like Sonnen, was granted a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
