Strikeforce weigh in results LIVE from Portland for 'Rockhold vs Kennedy'

The official weigh-in event for Strikeforce: "Rockhold vs. Kennedy" took place today (Friday, July 13, 2012) LIVE from the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon.

And we might be putting the brakes on the headlining title fight.

That's because Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold came in a half pound heavy for his scheduled defense against Tim Kennedy. He has two hours to cut that additional half pound. We will keep you up to date on the situation.

The Showtime-televised event will feature a middleweight championship match between division champion Luke Rockhold, defending his 185-pound title for just the second time against Tim Kennedy.

In addition, top welterweight contenders, Tyron Woodley vs. Nate Marquardt, will collide in the co-main event of the evening for the 170-pound title that Nick Diaz vacated back in April 2011.
