With all the injuries taking place over the past couple of days, here's one you may have missed.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will showcase three rounds of ground warfare when Rani Yahya matches wits (and jits) with fellow submission ace Josh Grispi at the UFC on FOX 4 event scheduled for August 4, 2012 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, according to an update posted on UFC.com.

Yahya fills in for "The Fluke's" original opponent, Pablo Garza, who was forced to withdraw from the late summer fight card due to an undisclosed injury.

Grispi (14-3) knows a thing or two about the ground game, having subbed seven of his 14 victims within the first round. Despite back-to-back losses to Dustin Poirier and George Roop, he's still considered one of the top up-and-coming prospects in the 145-pound division.

Yahya (16-7) has an astonishing 14 submissions in 16 wins. Unfortunately the Brazilian has struggled in recent times, going 2-3 over his last five fights including a unanimous decision loss to veteran wrestler Chad Mendes at the UFC 133 event last August.

Who steps up and who goes home?

UFC on FOX 4 now features a light heavyweight headliner pitting former division titleholder Mauricio Rua against Muay Thai expert Brandon Vera. Ex-205 pound kingpin Lyoto Machida starts his climb back to the top opposite rugged wrestler Ryan Bader.
