Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is headed to the BankAtlantic Center tomorrow night (June 8, 2012) in Sunrise, Florida, to settle a flyweight score between Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall in the main event of UFC on FX 3.
Under normal circumstances (and based on the performances of their first encounter) it would be easy to peg this headlining but as an early candidate for "Fight of the Night."
Except Josh Neer is also fighting in "The Sunshine State."
"The Dentist," who's quietly amassed a six-fight winning streak, will try to keep drilling away at the welterweight division when he takes on rough-and-tumble veteran Mike Pyle. "Quicksand" is 4-1 over his last five and meets Neer on the main card of the FX Channel broadcast.
