UFC on FX 4 took place last night (Fri., June 22, 2012) from the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, featuring Gray Maynard winning a close split decision victory over Clay Guida in a bizarre bout that had UFC President Dana White livid.
At least the judges got the decision right.
Sam Stout and Spencer Fisher finally settled up their trilogy, with the former earning a unanimous decision to break the tie and give him the 2-1 edge. The latter is likely headed for retirement, though you know how those are in mixed martial arts (MMA).
Other action on the card saw Cub Swanson knock out Ross Pearson out to establish himself at 145-pounds while Brian Ebersole earned a decision victory over T.J. Waldburger.
