Huge props to the gang at Iron Forges Iron for getting this one up so fast.
Famed Russian "Emperor" Fedor Emelianenko was back in action earlier today (June 21, 2012) battling former PRIDE alum Pedro Rizzo under the M-1 Global banner live from the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Rizzo is nicknamed "The Rock," which is apropos for this video, considering he was damn-near turned to stone by the heavy hands of the former WAMMA kingpin.
Our own Brian Hemminger with the live play-by-play:
Fedor throws a leg kick and then a nice straight left. Emelianenko wings a big right hand and Rizzo responds. Rizzo looks a bit uncomfortable and Fedor lands a huge leg kick then a monster right hand and Rizzo is hurt. Rizzo goes down and Fedor swarms him, landing punches and it's all over.
Anyone ready to see Emelianenko get back into the thick of things against some top-tier competition? Or should he call it quits and retire on top?
