Fabricio Werdum would love to kill two birds with one stone.

Not only does "Vai Cavalo" want to avenge his brutal knockout loss to Junior dos Santos at UFC 88 way back in October 2008, he'd love to strip him of the heavyweight title in the process.

But he's not getting within 50 feet of "Cigano" if he doesn't first fight his way past fellow 265-pound hopeful Mike Russow in the co-main event of UFC 147, which takes place this Saturday night (June 23, 2012) from Estádio Jornalista Felipe Drummond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

"When I set a goal in my life, whenever I want something badly, I set my mind to it. Now, my goal is to be UFC champion. I know I have to go step by step, but I also know that I will achieve it. I am aware that I will succeed at it, even if it takes a while, I will eventually get there. That's why it's important for me to perform well in my next fight, so the UFC can see me as the future opponent for Cigano."
