It was a great end to a beautiful story, according to former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight Rashad Evans. "Suga," of course, is referring to Michael Chiesa's quick first round submission finish (rear naked choke) of Al Iaquinta at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 15 Finale last night (Fri., June 1, 2012) at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout the debut "Live" season of TUF on FX, Chiesa dealt with the untimely death of his father as he attempted to advance to the finals of the 16-man Lightweight tournament. Not only did he achieve his goal, but Chiesa added the storybook exclamation point with a surprising stoppage of the Matt Serra-trained prospect. Indeed, Iaquinta was quite the handful -- Chiesa even admitted that his Team Faber teammate was "in his head" before the fight because of several "rough sparring sessions" that occurred throughout the TUF 15 season. That's now all just a memory, albeit a pretty good one, as Chiesa finally heads back home with a "six-figure" UFC contract, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and $40,000 extra Benjamins for scoring the "Submission of the Night." Sounds more and more like a fairy tale to me.
