Martin Kampmann comes back from the brink of defeat to knock out Jake Ellenberger in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 15 Finale last night (Fri., June 1, 2012) at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. "The Hitman" was getting knocked around the cage and it looked as though he would succumb underneath the pressure of "The Juggernaut." But he persevered and ultimately came back to land a short right hand before finishing with big knees from the clinch. The victory puts him in title contention in the welterweight division, likely staring down the barrel of a number one contender bout against Johny Hendricks. Or maybe a rematch with Carlos Condit looms. Whatever it is, Kampmann proved he belongs somewhere around the top of the 170-pound division.
