UFC 148 fight card complete with six main card fights for July 7 in Las Vegas

And then there were six.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is giving pay-per-view (PPV) buyers more bang for their buck when it broadcasts the UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 7, 2012.

The promotion dipped into its preliminary offerings to help beef up the reworked main card portion of the show, promoting the featherweight scraps of Mike Easton vs. Ivan Menjivar and Chad Mendes vs. Cody McKenzie.

The remaining five "Prelim" fights will air live via the FX channel.
