Before the World Boxing Organization (WBO) is even done reviewing Pacquiao vs. Bradley part one, Pacquiao vs. Bradley part deux may be dead in the water.
That's because Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions is now saying (via ESPN) Manny Pacquiao will be squaring off against Juan Manuel Marquez for the fourth time this coming Nov. 10, 2012.
According to Beltran, the bout will take place in either Las Vegas, where "Pacman" lost a controversial decision to Bradley just this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, or Mexico City. The Filipino fighting sensation reportedly prefers the latter.
Who can blame him?
Initially, it looked like a Pacquiao vs. Bradley rematch was a lock, with Top Rank promoter Bob Arum looking forward to "making a lot of money" on it after the controversy surrounding the first meeting. That was until he realized the public wants absolutely nothing to do with a rematch and is far more interested in seeing another showdown between Pacquiao and his arch nemesis, Marquez.
Of course, there are issues with making that fight as well. Marquez reportedly wants nothing to do with "Sin City" and wants the fight to happen in Mexico City. Arum is open to the idea but says the money has to be right.
Either way, it appears Pacquiao vs. Marquez four will happen before a Pacquiao vs. Bradley rematch. Everyone on board?
