UFC on FX 3 payouts and salaries: Mike Pyle pockets event-high purse

UFC on FX 3 fighter payouts for those who competed at the "Johnson vs. McCall" event this past Friday night (June 8, 2012) from the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla., were released earlier today by the Florida State Boxing Commission.

Surprisingly, Welterweight veteran Mike Pyle lead this payout pack with an event-high purse ($66,000) for his performance in the "Sunshine State," which resulted in a highlight-real finish of Josh Neer. Not far behind was another 170-pound fighter who competed on "Prelims" under card, Mike Pierce, who took home the second-best salary ($40,000) for his split decision over Carlos Eduardo Rocha.

As for the 125-pound headliners, Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall?

"Might Mouse" matched Pierce's take ($40,000), but "Uncle Creepy" earned a meager sum ($9,000) in comparison for his participation in the promotion's Flyweight tournament semifinal match.

The total disclosed payroll for UFC on FX 3: "Johnson vs. McCall" was $423,500.

Keep in mind the salaries listed above do not include fight bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial payments such as PPV bonuses, among others. It also does not include deductions for expenses such as insurance, taxes, etc.
