The "Lil Heathen" is back and ready to raise some hell against Donald Cerrone.
Jeremy Stephens hasn't been inside the Octagon since a hard-fought and competitive unanimous decision loss to current top lightweight contender Anthony Pettis last October.
Now, he's slated to face "Cowboy" on the main card of UFC on Fuel TV 3 in Fairfax, Virginia next Tuesday night (May 15, 2012), a fight the Victory MMA fighter sees as 'winnable'
"I've been doing a lot of different things with this camp, switching things up and just getting better every day. The train is still rolling and I'm super excited for this fight against Donald Cerrone. Great opponent for me. Great opponent for him and it's gonna be a war. It's gonna be a fight for you guys, a fight for the fans and it's definitely a winnable fight and a fight that I'm gonna win. It's my time and I'm looking to go out there and make a statement against Cerrone and just fight hard."
His opponent, Donald Cerrone is also coming off a decision loss at the hands of one of the top UFC lightweight title contenders, Nate Diaz, last December, which knocked him off the upper echelons of the divisional ladder.
Stephens showcases plenty of his training and gives insight into his current mindset with his next video blog after the jump:
Showcasing his wicked rat tail, Stephens says he's been putting himself in a lot of difficult situations during his training and he's ready to "let them hands go."
How do you like his chances against "Cowboy?"
